Helsingborg Golf Club was founded in 1924 and played on the heath between the dunes and the sea.
The course is a seaside course and the wind, which often is west-north-west, is difficult. The route of the Bay course has not changed much through the years. One of the holes (seventh) has moved more west towards the sea when the road 111 runs along the eastern part. The Club House, located at the ninth hole, is unique and monumental. It can be noted that Prince Sigvard became the club's first official champion in 1929.
