Course information

Originally designed by Harry Vardon, the club was founded on Boxing Day 1907 with the course opening in 1908. A mixture of traditional links and parkland the course has evolved into a challenging and scenic 18 hole, par 69. Harry Vardon is famously quoted as saying “Don’t play too much golf, two rounds a day is plenty.” He is also famous for advocating less haste around a course – “The record time for playing a round in the shortest time possible…is not worth holding” and certainly taking in the stunning scenery around Abersoch is time worth taking, without unduly holding up play of course!
